Link to Eligible LEAs Organized by States
March 2018: Step #1 - (LEAs) - Sort LEAs for each state that meet these criteria: greater than 25% poverty and delete all others. Then highlight LEAs with over 40% poverty.
Step #2 - Sort for districts with more than 200 students and delete all others that do not meet size criteria.
Step #3 - Alphabetize eligible districts A-Z.
Step #4 - Add two columns: Librarian's Name and Contact Info.
Examples (Revised 3/9/18):
Arizona - AZ_census2016_Poverty_Size_jm_030918.xls
Texas - TX_census2016_Poverty_Size_jm_030918.xls
Please follow the same naming convention for each spreadsheet. Complete the same sixteen (16) states you did in 2017.
Step #5: Adjust the columns to shrink the table size.
Step #6: Then replace and link the completed spreadsheet in the appropriate cell below. Add a notation: Revised 2018.
Step #7: Then copy and paste the table on the Eligible LEAs page for that state. See ??? for a good example. (For some reason, all of my table borders are not copying. See AZ and TX. Any ideas?)
Step #8: Set the Table Properties for 95% width. That will help librarians see all of the columns.
We will make the entire wiki available to school librarians to complete the last two columns (school librarian's name and contact info).
Thank you!
Due: April 1, 2018 (no foolin') This will give us time to see the results and confirm whether or not any criteria have changed.
